Week 9 Assignments-Synthesis

My E-Prime Day
This morning I dreamt of an old friend, one of several which makes me think of trying to contact her.  I awoke, and I arose.  The water boiled, the tea steeped, soy eggnog a strange nostalgic creamer.  The cars were already passing by, their soft hums not so detestable after embracing them for awhile.  I sat aware of those things around me, sometimes not aware.  I saw if I could do it for 5 minutes, I did it,  I felt I could do it longer.  The stopwatch beeped, I arose and drank my tea.  Yesterday held more cold than today.  Through the night the chill melted from my bones, I feel cold no more.  I began to work, this blog, I read the sun would rise, so I went to greet him.  Good choice, for pink cloud pearls crowned the horizon where he waited to sprout.  A blackbird circled round me two and a half times, with the background of the rising father I felt blessed.

Can I synthesize East and West?
Ok, no more e-prime, think western, girl.  Wait, synthesize East and West?!! Ay yay yay.  Aw, I'm gonna miss the intimacy of our small physics class.  But it will be cool to meet the other students.  I personally can't synthesize East and West, I feel I can espouse the thinking of TCM, and I can describe what I've seen of Chinese, Indian, Hmong, and a few other so-called "Eastern" cultures (though I continue to protest calling it East and West, since we're talking about East of Rome and West of Rome) of my friends.  Having very little understanding of Asian culture, whatever type of synthesize I might derive would likely be ignorant, particularly since there are a vast number of peoples and countries in what is called the continent of Asia, with as many view points.
