- Newton’s Three Laws and me
First Law: Objects at rest remain at rest and objects in motion remain in motion in a straight line at constant velocity. A force must be applied to change the state of motion of an object: When I am at rest, I usually have to get up eventually and work, and it's true that it usually is my man who applies force to me to do so!
Second Law: The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass: life is the force acting on me and my acceleration is definitely proportional to how the energies affect me!
Third Law: If two objects interact, say in a collision, the force exerted by object 1 on object 2 is matched by a force of exerted by object 2 on object 1 of the same size, but in the opposite direction: I've been in a crash before and I think I remember this feeling, however my car looked far worse than the car I hit (oops) I was a teenager so I have learned since then!

Or not, ha ha! That's why the world is heating up because we are so inefficient that the atmosphere has to pay to make up for it. Well, I do find it interesting those that don't believe in global warming--I mean I don't know enough science to actually know for sure that global warming is real, but of course I figure that since it's the big corporations who's interest is there if they're saying it's not true than it's probably the opposite!

It's really interesting how all of this stuff came about as fuel for the industrial revolution. So there was profit to be gained by understanding how to manipulate nature. Very interesting. I think it's also just a reaction against indigenous modes of thinking--if you're trying to crush them as your slave labor, and they believe that the universe is alive, if you say it's dead that's a good first start!

Wow, so it becomes more and more clear whats been hidden from us. To make a profit my manipulating nature is pretty sad. Greed greed greed over paper that doesn't follow you when you die to pay your way into heaven. If many of these people knew life goes on after death, they may have changed their way of being. Well maybe next time they come back they will get it right.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how people have a hard time zooming out and looking at things from the big picture. But once someone's life is a certain way, they find a hard time untangling themselves from it.
