Post your answers to this week's quiz:
What attracts me to Chinese Medicine?
When I first started looking at schools, the reason I did so was that I wanted to take further my studies in natural therapeutics and Chinese Medicine was the most viable option for a career in helping people to heal so that we "act right" as I say.
What do I honestly think of Physics, really?
Well, I liked Physics in high school, even though it was really hard, I thought the idea of a "universal" language to describe the universe was pretty cool. Now I realize that it is only one perspective on how to describe the universe.
Now that I think about it, have I ever experienced time "slowing down" or "speeding up"?
I have, but it's been a pretty subjective experience of feeling like, "time is passing so slowly right now", or "wow that passed by quickly"!
Post your reflections on this week's class-The Meaning of Time:
Sadly I missed class, but I found the article on "World's clocks to be adjusted by one second" to be rather amusing. It's pretty crazy that the earth is slowing down, and I wonder how other cultures have accomodated this in their measurements of time.
My other thought is that time shouldn't be so obsessed with. As an amazing teacher said, why are we in such a rush to die? I've been trying to personally be more in sync with time, moving the natural rhythm of the day rather than always trying to be faster than time!

My impressions on the links on Quantum Mechanics
I found the article on "writing for non-scientists" particularly good to keep in mind-even for us as we write our blogs, keepign things understandable and applicable is always important. I'd also like to read articles that were inspired by this article--one's that were written for non-scientists, as even some of the articles we've been reading in class have been a little over my head.
