What evidence can you find for synchronicity?
I definitely believe in synchronicity! Yay something I can actually agree with! Of course I've had many of those "phone ringing" moments, but a strong example for me is the connection between me and my son. All I have to do is think about something and then suddenly he starts talking about it. I mean, he basically if all goes well is the continuation of me and all that came before me, so why wouldn't we practically be the same organism? I think the whole "Gan Ying" principle thing-that there is no boundary between us and the "outer" environment makes it pretty easy to explain how things can be synchronistic. There are very subtle connections and energies that we can't see but can maybe feel, and there's a stream of germs blanketing us all, so why wouldn't simultaneousness happen?
Based on what you know, how would you explain connectivity?
I think my previous entry was already hinting at the connectivity idea. We are definitely all connected. Our sounds are constantly vibrating each other's bodies for goodness sakes! And our light is shining on each other. I see it as this stream of heat that envelopes us all from the sun, in fact it envelopes our galaxy, and maybe it's heat can't be felt light years away, but it's light reaches times passed eons ago. It is strange how things that were once called magic, and maybe still called magic, like magnetism, even radiation would have been called magic (to see someone exposed to a rock get instantly ill?), that can influence us. And then we share air, water, bacteria, the evidence is pretty compelling. I always like that saying about drinking dinosaur pee.

I responded to szavala,L.Ac. 's Synchronicity blog post.
The synchronistic events that happen to occur with your son are amazing. This may possibly be explained by a connection you and he have together as you mentioned he is a part of you. Also if you both spend a lot of time together, he may be picking up your thoughts. Thoughts are thought of as things/energy which vibrate. So when you are around each other, he is able to pick those vibes up.He may be very sensitive and open to his environment. Or maybe you as his mother.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, the genetic component of your relationship to your son makes it all the more plausible that you'd experience synchronicity more often with him as he is part you. I don't think you'd ever lose that, even if you both were many miles apart, either.
ReplyDeleteAnd on the connectivity, I agree that it makes sense, as we are all from the same, or very similar source of all things. As to calling things "magic," P.E.I. Bonewits defined Magic as any act that makes a thing conform to your will. We all make things or others conform to our will, at some point, I think. And we sometimes conform to the will of others. Just like observing changes the thing observed, so do we do this with each other.
I enjoyed reading your blog! The Gan Ying principle thing was what I was attempting to describe on my own blog. Of course we are all connected and I think the word 'magic' explains it very well.
ReplyDeleteI was having a recent conversation with a friend of mine about communication between the inner and outer world, and the lack of boundary or differentiation between them. We came to the conclusion that the phenomena that appeared to be answers "from the universe" has actually been our own minds expanding out beyond the sphere of our bodies. So, in a sense the outer messages are just reflections of what we are engaging in mentally and emotionally.
